Although I’m presenting them as a bunch of separate tests realistically we should combine a few to do at once. Will do that in a separate doc that actually have a detailed list of specific proposed tests.

-
social proof
- From goodUI very mixed results on how effective it is (seems to very much depend on the site/product).
- Test 1 - Add a one-sentence customer review under the sign-up to predict button on the market page.
-
Inga’s onboarding popup changes
- Test 1- Force them to click through the entire onboarding pop up
- Test 2- Try placing it before signing up
- Slide on homepage
- Slide on market page where betting panel usually is.
- Could trigger when it detects you are about to leave the site
-
Choosing groups they are interested in
- Force them to select at least 3 groups they are interested in (currently can choose to just click past it without selecting any)
-
Test - showing betting interface whilst signed-out vs informative panel
-
Signed-out homepage
- Use the signed-in homepage with slight modifications
- Use some version of our existing signed-out home page
-
Can we change how to google auth popup works?
Probably bad ideas?
- hiding some content behind opacity gradient sign up wall
- sign up to see probability
- on the explore feed after scrolling past the first 5 rows of markets have the “to view more markets sign up” fade in at the bottom
