Manifund: Generalist

• Finance, ops:
  • Reliably process our grants & investments, ranging from $500 to $500k
  • “Good with numbers”, knows your way around a spreadsheet
  • Understand Manifund from a birds-eye view; organizes our annual 990 report to the IRS
  • Responsive to a wide variety of requests and emails
• Programs: Creates and owns projects to scale up Manifund giving, eg:
  • Impact markets, advance market commitments
  • Givewell for AI safety
  • Funder coordination initiatives
• Fundraising: meet potential donors for our programs
• Engineering: maintain and build new features to keep operating

Manifest 2026: Lead Organizer

• Plan and run Manifest 2026
• Reach out to, coordinate with speakers
• Negotiate with sponsors
• Market the event to the right audiences
• Build an event ops team
• Stretch goal: grow Manifest into a standalone org

Past Manifest lead organizers include Rachel Weinberg, Saul Munn, and David Chee, who have gone on to eg start their own conference series or join frontier labs.
