Nope! No payment details are required to use Manifold Markets.
We strive to make Manifold Markets accessible to everyone. All users receive M$500 when signing up. Additionally, we have designed Manifold to have a number of ways to earn mana without having to spend a penny! Many of our most active users are completely free-to-play!
All you need to sign up for Manifold Markets is an existing Google account. There is no filling out any details of any sort!
After signing up you can go to your profile page to edit your name and profile photo.
We use Google Auth to protect your information and provide a frictionless log-in process. Unfortunately, we currently do not support any other way to sign up.
Email settings are fully customisable and can be done so from the notifications tab: https://manifold.markets/notifications?tab=settings§ion=.
There is an opt-out of all emails option if you scroll to the bottom of the page. Do note that if you ever create a market, you will receive mandatory emails asking you to resolve them once they close.
You may have noticed you can also edit web notification settings from this page. Web notification settings just refer to what will show up within the notification tab on Manifold itself.
To delete your account, please navigate to your profile page. Scroll to the bottom to find the button that allows you to delete your account.
Be warned that when deleting an account your markets and comments are not deleted, but your profile page will no longer exist and you will no longer receive any emails.
