Goals
- Increase new user retention
- Provide new users with a sense of growth and progression as they interact with the site
- Instill habits in new users.
- Help new users slowly discover and unlock some of the more complex features
- slowly = 1-2 weeks, this time period is important as it is the length of time required for something to become habit forming.
- Growth should feel exponential over these 2 weeks.
How will we measure if we are meeting the Goal?
- New user d1 and w1 retention increases
- % of users who complete all the quests
Proposal:
- For new users, replace the weekly section under quests with a section titled “Progression”
- Remove the mana you get after using the site for a week and instead put it into the quests.
