Volume is the amount of Mana that has been exchanged with the market both when buying and selling shares.
If a user buys M$100 worth of Yes shares, and then immediately sells them for M$100, then the volume would be M$200.
It can be used as a soft indicator of how much activity there is occurring in a market.
